Terre del Marchesato

Italy

Terre del Marchesato is a small, family-run estate in the heart of Bolgheri, Tuscany, founded by Maurizio Fuselli in 1998. The Fuselli family, farmers in the area since 1954, works across the vineyards, cellar and business. Its 16 hectares are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Vermentino, with vines tended by hand and each plot treated individually. The estate follows an eco-friendly approach, respecting natural cycles and limiting treatments, though it is not certified organic. In the winery, modern technology supports traditional craftsmanship: grapes are personally selected, fermentation and ageing use indigenous yeasts, and reds mature in French oak. The range focuses particularly on characterful single-variety wines intended to express both their grapes and the distinctive Bolgheri terroir.
