Pequenos Rebentos is a boutique Vinho Verde project in Minho, founded and run by engineer-turned-winemaker Márcio Lopes. Lopes works a 5-hectare estate and also sources grapes from nearby growers who share his herbicide-free principles. The vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic, with vegan-friendly farming and hand-harvested fruit. Wines are made naturally and with minimal intervention, using native yeasts, no added SO₂, and no filtration or disgorgement. Production is deliberately limited, including small, limited-edition releases such as the Loureiro Vinhas Velhas. The project reflects Lopes’s personal, low-intervention approach to expressing Vinho Verde.
