Paolo Saracco is a family-run winery in Castiglione Tinella, at the heart of the Moscato d’Asti area in Piedmont’s Langhe. Founded by Luigi Saracco in the early 1900s, the estate is now owned and operated by his grandson Paolo, who studied oenology and serves as winemaker. The family cultivates vineyards around Castiglione Tinella, Santo Stefano Belbo, Castagnole Lanze and Calosso, with a focus on Moscato Bianco and the aromatic expression of local soils and microclimate. Moscato d’Asti is the central wine, characterized by sweet freshness, lively bubbles and pronounced fruit and floral aromas. The range also includes Moscato d’Autunno, Langhe Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Nero, alongside Moscato grappa. Traditional family heritage is combined with modern winery technology, while vineyard work is described as sustainable and attentive to nature and climate conditions.
