Founded in 1825, Joseph Perrier is a historic Champagne house in Châlons-en-Champagne, still rooted on its original site and guided by the sixth generation of the family under Benjamin Fourmon. Its vineyards span leading sites including Cumières, Hautvillers, Damery, Verneuil, Bassuet and Chouilly, with Grand and Premier Cru holdings. The house farms with a strong sustainability focus, including Viticulture Durable en Champagne and HVE 3 certification, organic farming in Verneuil, biodiversity work, and vegan-certified winemaking. Historic Gallo-Roman chalk cellars provide ideal aging conditions. Under cellar master Nathalie Laplaige, Joseph Perrier’s style emphasizes freshness, elegance, balance, purity of fruit, and patient aging, with careful blending and separate vinification to express terroir.
