Jennifer Bariou and Thibaut Bodet are the owner-winemakers of an estate in Azay-le-Rideau in the central Loire Valley. They farm organically, with biodynamic practices focused on biodiversity, including sheep grazing and interplanted fruit trees such as peach, pear, almond, and cherry. Grapes are harvested by hand, and the wines are made with native yeasts and a low-intervention approach to highlight terroir. The domaine has grown since 2015, but remains a hands-on estate run entirely by the couple, who oversee both vineyard work and winemaking.
