Foxglove is a family-owned California label under Varner Wine, originally rooted in the Santa Cruz Mountains and now sourcing fruit from the Dos Ninos and Hog Canyon vineyards in Paso Robles. Winemaker Bob Varner leads production with a hands-on, fruit-focused approach, using hand-picked grapes, minimal sulfur, stainless-steel fermentation, and malolactic fermentation without oak aging. Sustainable farming practices are followed, though no formal certification is noted. The family-run ethos and straightforward cellar work give the wines a clear, pure expression of Paso Robles fruit.
