Domaine du Petit Bondieu is a family-run estate in Restigné, Touraine, founded by Jean-Marc Pichet in 1976 and led since 2012 by his son, Thomas. Its vineyards in Bourgueil and Chinon are planted exclusively to Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc and are farmed organically, with biodynamic methods also practiced. The domaine has avoided chemical products since the late 1990s and received organic certification in 2010. Thomas Pichet, a vigneron from a longstanding local winegrowing family, vinifies his cuvées by parcel, adapting the work to each terroir to express its individual character. The estate produces Bourgueil and Chinon wines, including red and white cuvées, as well as a traditional-method natural sparkling wine.
