Sauvignon de Touraine

Domaine de la Rochette is an independent, family-owned Loire Valley estate run by the Leclair family for four generations, with winemaker-owner Vincent Leclair at the helm. The domaine focuses on Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay, Pinot Noir and Chenin Blanc. Its vineyards are farmed with organic and sustainable practices, including grass-covered rows, no insecticides, sexual-confusion methods and a reported 50% reduction in treatments. The estate holds HVE 3 certification, while its Chenonceaux parcel is certified organic. Wines are made from vineyards including parcels overlooking the Cher River, reflecting a practical, environmentally conscious approach to Loire Valley production.
