Clos Siguier is a family-owned domaine in Cahors, in Southwest France, run by Gilles Bley and his son Baptiste Bley. Working mainly with Malbec and some Tannat on limestone-rich soils, they farm with an organic and biodynamic focus, though no formal certification is cited. The estate follows a natural, low-intervention approach: grapes are hand-harvested, fermentations are spontaneous with indigenous yeasts in concrete and steel tanks, and the wines are made without added enzymes, fining, or filtration. Notes also trace the family history back to Gilles’ great-grandfather Edmond, with Simon and Nicole Bley having created the brand.
