Château Lamothe de Haux is a family-owned estate in Haux, southwest of Bordeaux, managed by the Néel-Chombart family since 1956 and now in its fourth generation, with Damien Chombart as winemaker. Its clay-limestone vineyards are farmed under HVE certification, with grassed rows, soil monitoring, targeted treatments, beekeeping partnerships, hedgerows, bee hotels, and other biodiversity measures. Wines are aged in more than 8 km of 17th-century limestone troglodyte galleries, now used as cellars. The estate produces a diverse range with a strong emphasis on dry white wines, alongside reds and other styles. Beyond wine, the family has developed a truffle orchard, wine-based Goguette cocktails, and rural accommodation, while welcoming visitors for cellar tours and tastings.
