Château Figeac

Château Figeac is a historic, family-owned Saint-Émilion estate held by the Manoncourt family since 1892. Long shaped by Thierry Manoncourt’s pioneering spirit, it remains defined by innovation, precision, and deep respect for its singular gravel terroir over blue clay, with a blend led equally by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Merlot. The estate combines meticulous micro-parcel viticulture, massal selection, horse plowing, and gravity-flow winemaking in its new cellar. Biodiversity and environmental stewardship are central to the property’s identity, supported by preserved green spaces, wildlife protection, and ISO 14001 and HVE Level 3 certification. Under Hortense Manoncourt Idoine, Frédéric Faye, Romain Jean-Pierre, and consultant Michel Rolland, Figeac produces elegant, precise wines with freshness and strong aging potential.
