Weingut Künstler Hochheimer is a family-owned Rheingau estate with roots reaching back to 1648 and a re-establishment in Hochheim in 1965 by Fritz Künstler. The winery remains in the Künstler family and is led by Gunter Künstler, CEO and head winemaker. It focuses on Riesling from VDP Grosse Lage and Erste Lage vineyards, with hand-harvested grapes, low yields and meticulous vineyard work supporting a sustainable approach. Modern cellar technology is used within the VDP quality framework, while the wines reflect the estate’s emphasis on quality and limited production.
