Weingut Dr. Wehrheim is a fourth-generation family estate in Birkweiler, Pfalz, led by Franz Wehrheim with his father Karlheinz. A longtime VDP member, the winery focuses on dry, site-driven wines from traditional vineyards in Birkweiler and neighboring Siebeldingen, with an emphasis on local terroir and regional grapes including Riesling, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Chardonnay, and Spätburgunder. The estate farms organically and biodynamically, is certified organic, and is part of respekt-BIODYN. Its philosophy centers on harmony, balance, and distinctive, food-friendly wines with a strong sense of origin.
