Viña Meín is a small-scale producer in Ribeiro, Galicia, founded in 1998 by engineer Emilio Rojo on the Alén family estate. Its 16–17 hectares of terraced vineyards are farmed organically and sustainably, with precision viticulture, low-yield harvesting, and an emphasis on native white varieties alongside a limited experimental red planting. The winery was formerly owned and managed by Javier Alén and is now held by Alma Carraovejas, which works with longtime winemaker Laura Montero. Production remains focused and artisanal, with annual output of approximately 40,000–80,000 bottles. No formal organic certifications are cited.
