Stolpman Vineyards is a family-owned estate in Ballard Canyon, California, founded by Tom Stolpman and partners Peter and Jessica Stolpman. Set on a rare limestone outcrop exposed to Pacific winds, it is especially suited to Syrah and Roussanne. Farming is dry-farmed, hand-worked, certified organic from the 2022 vintage and Demeter biodynamic from 2023, with a strong focus on preserving site and vine balance. In the cellar, Stolpman emphasizes native fermentation and minimal manipulation to produce vibrant, site-specific wines. A defining part of the estate is La Cuadrilla, its year-round vineyard crew, whose profit-sharing wine project reflects the winery’s long-term commitment to sustainable employment and community.
