Founded in 1880 by Adriano Ramos Pinto, Ramos Pinto is a historic Douro house focused on Port and Douro wines. Owned by Louis Roederer since 1990, it remains family-managed by Rosas descendants Jorge Rosas and Master Blender Ana Rosas. The estate follows a strict self-production approach, sourcing fruit from its own quintas: Bom Retiro, Urtiga, Bons Ares, and Ervamoira. Its farming is moving toward organic practice with biodiversity initiatives, though no formal certification is mentioned.
