Mickaël Salmon

France

Mickaël Salmon is a Loire Valley vigneron in Château-Thébaud, near Nantes, operating Domaine Lucas-Salmon since 2019 while also working at the family estate Domaine Salmon, founded in 1897. His estate is certified organic and employs sustainable practices like manual disbudding and green harvest. Focusing on single-plot cuvées of varieties such as Melon Blanc and Gamay, he practices minimal intervention winemaking, aging wines in underground vats and clay amphorae without fining or filtration, reflecting a commitment to artisanal, terroir-driven wines.
