Les Vignerons de Saint-Pourçain is the cooperative of the Saint-Pourçain appellation in the Loire Valley, bringing together growers from 19 communes. Its vineyards lie in a continental climate on sandy, granitic and clay-limestone soils, with the distinctive Tressallier (Sacy) complemented by Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Gamay and Pinot Noir. The cooperative produces white, red and rosé wines, with reds representing just over half of its output. Under chief oenologist Sylvain Miniot, who joined in 1990, the cellar has undergone major investment, while vineyards are farmed under Sustainable and HVE-certified practices. Its collaborative ownership model reflects the collective participation of growers across the historic Saint-Pourçain region.
