Chateau Tour des Gendres

France

Château Tour des Gendres is a family-run Bergerac estate in Ribagnac, worked by the de Conti family across three generations and now led by siblings Gilles and Margaux de Conti after Luc de Conti. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 1996 and is certified organic, with biodynamic and sustainable practices including composting, herb-tea sprays, soil work and Guyot pruning. The estate aims to express terroir and local character. In the cellar, Luc de Conti helped pioneer zero-sulphur methods, with native yeasts, careful lees work, foudres and amphorae; reds are handled with gentle extraction and the wines are aged in tank or large wooden vessels rather than barriques to avoid overt oak influence.
