Château Julia is a family-run, independent estate in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, managed by proprietors-vignerons Sophie Martin and Romain Carreau. The property produces AOC Haut-Médoc and Pauillac wines, including Pauillac vines situated between Château Latour and Château Lynch-Bages. Working methods include manual soil work, leaf-thinning, green harvesting and hand harvesting, with stated respect for the environment; some wines are HVE certified. The wines are Merlot-dominant blends aged in oak, designed for youthful, fruity and rounded enjoyment. Château Julia emphasizes direct sales, visits and tastings with the owners, and offers wines in bottles and 3- and 5-litre bag-in-box formats. Its wines have received guide and press recognition, including a Coup de Cœur for the 2020 vintage in the Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2025.
