Campo al Mare is a family-owned estate in Bolgheri DOC, Tuscany, founded in 2000 by Giovanni Folonari and his father, Ambrogio. Part of the Tenute Folonari group, it is led by the eighth generation of the Folonari family, with Giovanni and Ambrogio overseeing the winemaking. Its vineyards are divided into six parcels, each planted to a single variety, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Vermentino. The wines reflect Bolgheri’s focus on these international red varieties alongside Vermentino, shaped by the estate’s parcel-based vineyard approach.
