Founded more than 60 years ago, Bodegas Gallegas remains family-owned and is run by siblings Manuel and Myriam Vázquez. Based in Galicia, the group operates wineries in Ribeira Sacra, Rías Baixas and Ribeiro, working with Albariño, Mencía, Godello and Treixadura. Its viticulture includes sustainable practices such as Guyot training, combining respect for tradition with modern viticultural and winemaking techniques. Lead winemaker Olga Verde Vieitez, a former sommelier, oversees production. The wines are made from estate and locally sourced grapes, with the group holding BRC Grade AA and IFS Food Higher Level certifications.
