Bariou-Bodet is a family-run estate in Azay-le-Rideau, in the central Loire Valley, owned and operated by winemakers Jennifer Bariou and Thibaut Bodet. They farm organic vineyards according to biodynamic principles on diverse clay, flint and quartz soils. Their sustainable approach includes sheep grazing and planting fruit trees to encourage biodiversity. In the cellar, they use native yeasts and favor minimal intervention, expressing a low-intervention style rooted in the character of their vineyards.
